To use CycleZLab, you must be a member of a robotics team or have a legitimate interest in robotics collaboration. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Membership Application

Full access to platform resources requires membership approval. We reserve the right to approve or deny membership applications at our discretion. Approved members gain access to robot designs, code libraries, and other shared resources.

Acceptable Use

When using CycleZLab, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Provide accurate information when sharing robot designs or resources
  • Collaborate respectfully with other community members
  • Give proper credit when using designs or code from other teams

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Use automated systems to scrape or harvest data from the platform
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Sell, license, or commercially exploit content without proper authorization

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to CycleZLab, including robot designs, CAD files, code, and documentation. By sharing content on the platform, you grant other verified members a non-exclusive license to view, download, and use your content for educational and competitive robotics purposes.

Platform Content

The CycleZLab platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by CycleZLab and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform without our written permission.

Respecting Others' Work

When using designs or code from other teams, you must provide proper attribution and respect any licensing terms specified by the original creators. Commercial use of shared designs may require additional permissions from the content owners.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

CycleZLab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.

Content Accuracy

While we encourage teams to share accurate information, we do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-submitted content. You use robot designs, code, and other resources at your own risk. Always verify and test any designs or code before implementing them in your own projects.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CycleZLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages from robot malfunctions, competition losses, or data loss.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the platform or community. You may also request account termination at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the platform will immediately cease.

Privacy

Your use of CycleZLab is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CycleZLab shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.
